THE VENUE: The Light Room
The Rebecca Holmes Photography Studio is at The Light Room, Linlithgow. It is next to Linlithgow Cricket Ground. The address is The Light Room, Edinburgh Rd, EH49 6AB.

There is a car park directly opposite the studio, and most weekends, there is parking available.
Linlithgow train station is a short walk away. You can find directions from the station here.
To access the studio, please come through the swing gate and up the decking. Let yourself in the door.
What to wear
Please have your child come wearing a single block colour. Ideally a bright colour.
- NOT black or white.
- No logos, typeface or patterns.
- Ok to get wet
- Not see-through when wet.
The clothing should ideally be form-fitting and dance-appropriate, such as leotards, dance shorts, tights, t-shirts, leggings, etc.
Bare feet only please.

Hair and Makeup
Hair can be out and free-flowing or tied up, as the child prefers. It will also be getting wet.
DO NOT FAKE TAN as this looks very bad under studio lights. Extra retouching will not be done to fix it.
What to bring
Each child must bring the following
- TWO towels
- Crocs/flip flops/beach shoes
- A blanket to help them get warm at the end
- A supervising parent/carer - please do not let them come along on their own
How it will work
On arrival, your child will be checked in and asked to wait for their turn.
Please make sure your children wait with you, as we have a lot of equipment they could damage if they run around.
Once the team are ready, your child will spend time with a dance teacher and the photographer.
The children will be asked to get wet FIRST in a small (warm) paddling pool, they'll then go in for their photoshoot.
Safety will be our top concern, and all poses will be kept to their comfort level.
Due to the nature of the photoshoot, parents/carers are asked to supervise at all times, being an extra pair of eyes to ensure the comfort and safety of their child.
Rebecca will capture photographs of each individual child and each sibling group. Dance teachers Eilidh and/or Caitlin will support dancers with posing and safety.
Rescheduling and cancellations
Cancellations can be accepted up until 7 days before the event. After this, your fee will not be refunded.
After the Session
Three weeks after the session, the photographs will be made available in an online gallery for you to view and choose the two images you'd like as part of your package. The link to your online gallery will be sent to the email address you provided when booking. The galleries will be available for ONE WEEK when we need you to make your choices.
Just a reminder that the package includes; two high-resolution digital images and two 9 x 6-inch professional prints.
Should you wish to purchase additional images, you will be able to at that point; however, this is not required or expected.
Delivery
Digital downloads will be delivered to your nominated email address. For Mariposa students, prints will be delivered to class. For non-Mariposa students, prints will be delivered to your home.
What about the weather
BUT as we're photographing outside, and we're in Scotland, it is possible that the weather may hold us back (storm with a name anyone?!).
In the unlikely event that this happens we will send you a TEXT MESSAGE to reschedule the sessions. Please ensure you provided your current phone number so we can do this.
