I LOVE live performance, especially dance. It’s a real passion of mine, one I enjoyed hugely as a younger woman. There’s a thrill to live shows that’s just unmatchable, you can’t beat it (which is probably why I’m lured back to my local AmDram society again and again). It’s such an expressive, emotive art form and it’s a total joy to photograph. As always, I work in a very relaxed, fun way, allowing the performers to do their thing and for some really remarkable imagery to occur.

Before my shoot with Rebecca I was a bit nervous because I had never done anything like it before, but as soon as i got there all my nerves disappeared as Rebecca was so welcoming and kind! As soon as we got into the shoot I started having so much fun and letting go and just experimenting with all the moves and poses I was doing. I love the finished products I have been posting them on my Instagram and have also made a collage of them for my bedroom wall! I would recommend a dance shoot with Rebecca for anyone of any ability or age because it is so much fun and the finished products are something I will keep and treasure forever!

Rebecca took our production photographs for the Linlithgow Players’ annual pantomime and did an excellent job from start to finish. She was professional and unobtrusive when taking photos of our actors in action and took charge effectively when organising a full cast photograph. She worked to a tight deadline to get photos to us electronically for press release and went the extra mile in selecting photos for us that would work best for that purpose. She also set up a front of house slide show for our audience to view the production photos which was another additional piece of work that she volunteered willingly. Her photos were of excellent quality – a great variety of full stage shots and more detailed “action” portraits of individual characters, capturing the colour and fun of the show and the enjoyment for all involved. These have really enhanced our website experience for anyone viewing our most recent production photographs. We would recommend her, for her professionalism and the quality of her work and would definitely work with her again in the future.

Rebecca made my shoot fun, she listened to me and helped me with ideas. I had the best time! She’s such a lovely, kind and fun person to be around and of course my photos were AMAZING! If any dancers out there are thinking about this, do it, you will have the best time!

No! All levels welcome. We’ll choose poses that show off your strengths, giving you a beautiful set of images.
We can decide together where best to take your photos. You may prefer indoors in a studio, or outside in the wild.
When outdoors, most dancers either choose bare feet or an old pair of shoes. The choice is ultimately yours.
Absolutely! I have the tools to help you sell the photos taken at your performance. Get in touch and we can workout a plan that works for you.
Easily! Either we go to a location which has specific training facilities, or we rig up a portable mini changing room for the purpose. Got a big dressing gown? That and a towel works a treat!
