I only do a small number of weddings a year, but when I do find myself working on somebody’s big day, I always have so much fun. I take a very chilled, very no-nonsense approach to weddings. I blend in with your guests seamlessly and keep my eyes open for gorgeous details, laughing guests and touching moments.

Wow! What can we say about Rebecca? She is one of the most casually professional people we’ve ever met. On our wedding day she exuded calm and relaxed organisation. She made what could have been the most trying of times into a small space for reflection and intimate joy not just between the two of us, but between us and our families. Her unobtrusiveness and good-humoured approach to ensuring that all our needs were catered to kept everyone happy, and ahead of schedule! Not only did we enjoy her company on the day, but the photographic results have produced artwork to adorn our walls and astonish anyone who wishes to view our stunning photo-book album. Included free of charge the atmosphere of the day still shines through!
We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. Rebecca has such a caring, relaxed manner and helped with many aspects of the day. She was well prepared with Rescue Remedy and lip-gloss at hand! We have since become very close friends and she has provided us with the perfect album. Rebecca took our brief for the album and matched it perfectly, we love our modern, informal and natural photographs. We feel that she managed to capture our wedding in exactly the style we wanted without any fuss or long delays on our actual day. With both our parents wanting more traditional albums, Rebecca was able to cater to their needs and was very attentive to our family members. We loved our wedding day and it was made so much easier by Rebecca. We highly recommend Rebecca as a fantastic photographer and all-round wedding day guru!
If you are looking for a photographer who won’t treat you as a booking or a number then I would definitely recommend Rebecca. She is very professional and personable which makes a huge difference on the day.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’ve been to weddings with bossy and rude photographers - is this you?
No way, José. Clients describe having me at their wedding as like having an old friend present (less of the old, ta very much). I’m calm, relaxed, on hand for all manner of bridal crisis (I’m pretty handy with a needle and thread, which is worth knowing) and can win over even the most challenging of relatives. It’s important to me that couples enjoy having their picture taken, rather than feeling awkward.
How far will you travel?
I once travelled to Australia to photograph a wedding. True story! The pricing above is for travel within 50 miles of Linlithgow, but I love to travel so get in touch and we can chat about it.
What approach do you take to wedding photography?
I document the day in a relaxed, candid way, with a good pinch of formal posed family pictures (the ones Grandma likes) and a few more posed pictures of the couple for good measure. I want you to look back on your images and really ‘feel’ what the day was like.
Could I book you for just an hour to get a few photos?
Absolutely! Get in touch.
Do you take formal, posed family pictures on the day?
If you’d like me to! And if you do, then we’ll discuss beforehand how many you’d like, when you’d like them and who you want in them so that the day runs as smoothly as possible.
