I only do a small number of weddings a year, but when I do find myself working on somebody’s big day, I always have so much fun. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, I take a very chilled, no-nonsense approach to weddings.

I blend in with your guests seamlessly and keep my eyes open for gorgeous details, joyous laughter and touching moments. My goal is to capture the emotion of the day, not just a catalogue of events.

But I also don't make photography take all day. Your wedding is probably one of the biggest parties you'll have in your life - you want to make sure you're present for it. I take beautiful, memorable photographs without needing to keep you away from your guests for hours.

And of course role extends far beyond just photography. Think of me as your support system, cheerleader, and friend on your special day. With over twenty years of experience in wedding photography, I've also played the part of an emergency seamstress, a quick-fix expert for hair and makeup, an adept tie-tier, a first aid responder, a soothing presence for nervous parents, and much more. I'm there to ensure every aspect of your day is picture-perfect.

I’VE BEEN TO WEDDINGS WITH BOSSY AND RUDE PHOTOGRAPHERS - IS THIS YOU?

No way, José. Clients describe having me at their wedding as like having an old friend present (less of the old, ta very much). I’m calm, relaxed, on hand for all manner of bridal crisis (I’m pretty handy with a needle and thread, which is worth knowing) and can win over even the most challenging of relatives. It’s important to me that couples enjoy having their picture taken, rather than feeling awkward.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

I once travelled to Australia to photograph a wedding. True story! The pricing above is for travel within 50 miles of Edinburgh, but I love to travel so get in touch and we can chat about it.

WHAT APPROACH DO YOU TAKE TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

I document the day in a relaxed, candid way, with a pinch of formal posed family pictures (the ones Grandma likes) and a few more posed pictures of the couple for good measure. I want you to look back on your images and really ‘feel’ what the day was like.
