Christmas is creeping up fast (how is it nearly here again?!), and if you’re anything like me, you’ll already be thinking about how to thank your clients in a way that’s thoughtful but doesn’t involve a late-night panic on Moonpig.

That’s where Sip, Snap & Send comes in.

So what’s the idea?

Picture this: you stroll into my cosy studio, twinkly lights sparkling, Christmas tunes on, fizz in your glass, and a warm mince pie in your hand. You chat with fellow business owners — swapping stories, giggles, maybe even a bit of networking magic. Then, one by one, you’ll head upstairs for your five minutes of festive fun in front of the camera.

This is not a stiff headshot session. Oh no. This is Santa hats, sparkly tinsel, handfuls of glitter caught mid-air. Or maybe a cheeky flatlay with your product looking all festive and fabulous. Basically — silly, sparkly, and completely unique to you.

Afterwards, you’ll pick your favourite image and I’ll pop it onto 20 Christmas cards for you (more if you want them). Within two weeks they’ll land on your doorstep, ready for you to scrawl your heartfelt thanks and pop in the post to your clients.

Networking AND your client Christmas cards sorted? That’s what I call a Christmas miracle.

Rebecca is a terrific host and a truly gifted photographer. I had never gotten headshots before, and wasn’t sure what to expect. But she coached me through the process in such a way that instantly put me at ease. I realised then that a good portrait shot doesn’t just require someone who’s good with a camera; they have to be good with people as well. This is where Rebecca really excels and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Top tip: I highly recommend a trip to her Linlithgow studio. It’s a warm and inviting space that adds to the whole experience.

I was quite nervous before getting the photoshoot done, but once we started Rebecca was absolutely AMAZING at making me feel comfortable, and just making it more fun, even in the middle of Edinburgh where there were loads of people going past. It was a really fun experience – I’ve got a cheek-ache from laughing so much, and not fake laughing – proper laughing! The photos are absolutely amazing! I usually hate photos of myself, but these are beautiful photos – I’m really, really happy with them.

    Loaction: My Linlithgow Studio, just a 5 minute stroll from Linlithgow train station (and only 15 mins from Edinburgh)
    When: Thursday 13th November, 6:40pm (stay all night, or pop in when you can)

    Who am I?

    I'm Rebecca Holmes and I run a thriving family, business and commercial photography business covering Edinburgh, the Lothians and beyond. I have been people and businesses professionally for over two decades.  

    I love providing an extra special experience for my clients, and part of that is sending something festive at Chrismtas. But I so often leave it too late, or am too busy RUNNING the business to get around to it. 

    That's how Sip, Snap and Send was born. As a way to have a fun night out, to throw a bit of a Christmas party at the studio, and help other business owners like me get something personal and fun to send to their clients.  

    I hope you can join us for what will undoubtedly be a fabulous evening!
