I’m passionate about helping women to feel comfortable being seen in front of the camera.

I get it, getting your photo taken doesn’t come naturally to most people (it certainly doesn’t to me). But I get just how important it is to document our journey, as individuals, partners, wives, mothers and business owners.

I offer relaxed fun portrait photograph sessions for individuals, couples, families, performing artists and businesses. My work gets right to the heart of who you are. My warmth and friendly rapport mean I easily coax clients into a relaxed place for their photographs.

I’ve been taking photographs for a long time and honestly can’t think of anything else I’d rather do. I like to help people feel seen, feel heard, and I love it when they finally see a picture of themselves that they like.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

There are lots of ways we can work together. I offer photography for individuals, couples, families and businesses. I’ll photograph you for a portrait, for your wedding, when you’re pregnant, when you’ve children in arms, or as you’re working on your amazing business.

However you choose to work with me you can rest assured the service you will get from start to finish will be exemplary. You want your preparation, your session and your ordering to be friendly, fuss-free and easy. That is exactly what I provide.

The booking process starts with a chat on the phone or on zoom. We talk about what you’re after and make a plan for how I can help.

After booking you’ll be sent a detailed brochure outlining exactly how to prepare and what will happen during and after the session.

On the day I will guide you in every aspect – you’ll never have to worry about how to stand or what to do with your hands!

Aftercare is no less important. We’ll see each other again for your viewing and ordering session where I’ll be on hand to help you make the best use of your wonderful images.

Rest assured that each step of your journey with me will be clear, concise and fully supported.

EVERYONE I photograph finishes their session saying how much easier it was than they’d expected it to be, and how much they enjoyed it. Yes, it is possible to enjoy getting your photograph taken!

I could not be happier with the photos that followed our Autumn mini session. The morning of the shoot was a particularly frosty -6°C, Rebecca very quickly struck up a warm and friendly rapport with my 3-year-old. It helped that Rebecca clearly knew the location well, and the best spots for a great backdrop. The session felt like a nice, crisp walk among beautiful surroundings. The photos are phenomenal and have only increased my admiration for the photography profession. Put your smartphone camera away and book a session with Rebecca, you will not regret it!

Photographs of you, of you and your partner, of your gorgeous baby bump, your newborn, or your family. From a few of you to a lot of you – let’s make some beautiful memories.

STEP ONE

Book your session with a £99 non refundable retainer. This will be deducted from your final order.

Sessions last up to two hours.

STEP TWO

About a week later we will meet at my studio for your viewing and ordering session.

As a price guide, prints start from £45, bespoke wall art starts from £220 and digital packages start from £399.

Rebecca is a complete professional and takes absolutely stunning photos. She came to our home to photograph my family before and after the birth of my 2nd child.
As someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy being photographed, I felt completely at ease with her and she was fab with my toddler. Highly recommend her service.

Why I do what I do

I’m an award-winning professional photographer with over two decades of experience taking photographs professionally… (why thank you – no, I don’t look that old). I’m an Aussie who moved to Edinburgh to marry a Scot, and who now calls Scotland home. I’m also a wife and mum of three, who loves both good coffee and tasty Scottish gin. I am warm, fun, gentle and really easy going.

I would spend hours as a child pouring over family photo albums and picture frames. I loved learning about who people were, how they lived, who they loved. For me, photographs have always had a magical quality about them… They have the ability to remind us, transport us, capture our imagination and fill our hearts with joy.

I love nothing more than capturing candid, beautiful moments of love between the people I photograph.
