WHAT FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY WILL LOOK LIKE WHEN LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED

I am so very excited to get back to photographing! Especially with all this gorgeous weather we've been having! It's perfect for an outdoor family photography! Documenting people's lives is such a passion of mine and I've really missed it! I hope this message finds you healthy and coping as best you can with the current restrictions.

Following today's announcements from First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, outdoor photography can start to happen as soon as we enter Phase 1 of the 'Moving out of lockdown' plan.

If you already had a session booked in during lockdown, I will soon be in touch to reschedule that session. Sessions booked for June and beyond will remain in place pending further instruction from the government.

Safety is my number one priority. This is what I plan to do to help your and your family stay healthy.

Government guidelines will be strictly adhered to at all times. This will impact the number of people who can be involved in a photography session, and where the session can take place. During Phase 1;

  • Sessions will be held outdoors and within the local area.
  • Only immediate family can be included (that is, the people you have been in lockdown with).
  • Social distancing must be adhered to, keeping a space of 2 meters between me and your family at all times.

I will contact you to reschedule if either myself OR my family have experienced symptoms within two weeks of your booking. I ask that you do the same, even if it means rescheduling at the last minute. There will be no penalty at all for rescheduling. I will prioritise rebooking for those who have had to reschedule.

I will not touch you or any member of your family, or any of your possessions (sorry, can't help carry bags any more!).

Booking and gallery viewings will continue to be done online.

Prints will be delivered to your door, observing social distancing at all times.

A separate policy will be put in place for school photography, when we get closer to schools opening.

Family photography is so very important, I feel that even more so since this crisis started.

Photographs not only capture a moment in time, but they capture a feeling - one that can be revisited for years to come. I have always felt really privileged to be able to capture wonderful memories of families. I can't wait to see you all again soon. Please contact me to make a booking for your family photography session.
