Rebecca Holmes Family Photography
I’d very much like to be your family photographer. From bump, to newborns, to family portraits to your personal branding shoot when you launch your dream business once the kids are at school. Being part of a family’s life cycle is such a lovely, lovely thing. Makes my job one of the best around.

'Daddy, we love Becca'
We recently had a family session with Rebecca and was delighted with our photos – would thoroughly recommend. The booking process was quick and easy and the session itself was extremely relaxed. Rebecca had huge patience with our three young boys and a combination of this patience and her clear talent as a photographer led to wonderful photos. ‘Daddy we love Becca’ was repeated several times on our way home so she certainly gained herself three new young fans as well as two adult ones!

capturing connection
Photographs are much more than just pictures. A wonderful family photograph isn’t just about getting an updated picture to send to grandparents, it’s about documenting your family history, memorialising your children’s childhood, capturing your love as a family, and putting it on the wall for everyone to see.

Time moves so fast…

One moment you’re holding a brand-new baby in your arms, the next, you’re waving them off to secondary school, then college. Make sure you capture those memories, capture the love you have for your family – so you can put it on your wall to be treasured, always.

Family Photography PROCESS AND Pricing

Get the whole family out for the day and let’s make some memories. This process and pricing structure applies to all 'family' photography sessions - maternity, newborns, babies, small or large families, and extended families.

Rebecca Holmes Family Photography Wall Art
Rebecca is a very accomplished photographer and we’re extremely pleased with our family photo shoot which was relaxed and informal. We’ve now got some lovely prints of our children and look forward to doing it again in future years as the kids grow. Highly recommended.

I want to offer my heartfelt appreciation, gratitude and praise to Rebecca Holmes for giving us a beautiful family shoot in local nature during autumn. Rebecca helped us all to feel relaxed on the day and showed a great deal of intuition, patience and understanding with our special daughter Orin, who needs a lot of care, encouragement and time. She also brought out the best in our teenage son and captured some wonderful images of him. A large variety of shots were taken, and Rebecca was very open to our own suggestions. The best part was that the whole experience felt like we were all spending quality time together – just hanging out with ‘and old friend’ and her camera! Thank you, Rebecca, for your ease, generosity and skill: as a creative, inspiring and trustworthy photographer.

Rebecca has completely  captured the spirit of my daughter  in our latest set of photographs! We have returned to Rebecca time and again because her photo shoots are fun and relaxed, and the resultant photographs are ones that we proudly hang on out walls!

Frequently Asked Questions

Rebecca Holmes Family Photography
I won’t lie to you, it might. You don’t live in Scotland and expect sunshine every day. But don’t panic, if the weather is looking dodgy ahead of your session, I’ll be in touch to discuss options. A little drizzle can be fun (especially for children) and, personally, I really don’t mind a little bit of Scottish dreich! But if there’s a storm with some weird name, we can think again. Don’t want us all getting washed away…
I have three of my own. They’re none of them angels. ‘Nuff said. Seriously though, please don’t worry. I’m good at getting kids to engage in the session and I’ll give you lots of top tips ahead of time to make sure you’re well-prepared. If all else fails, grumpy kids make for fantastically hilarious photos.
Wherever you like! In your home, in a nearby park, at a country park, at the beach (I love a beach session), in the city. Wherever you and your family feel comfortable. If you have no idea though, leave it to me. I know all the best spots!
Absolutely! In fact, I prefer to start all my newborn and baby sessions in the family home. All I need is one good window for light and we’re good to go.
Please do! Family sessions are great when events bring the WHOLE family together. Multi-generation family sessions are also a great way to spread the cost: invite your brothers/sisters and their kids and get everyone involved.
